Applying for an ID card and / or passport for an adult

The most convenient and cheapest way of applying for a passport of an ID card is via the self-service portal of the Police and Border Guard Board or via post from the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board. More information about applying for documents is available here.

You can apply for a passport in the self-service portal, via post, if less than 6 years have passed since you last applied for a passport and provided your fingerprints. To apply for a document at the embassy in Seoul, please email [email protected].

Passports can be claimed at the the Police and Border Guard Board in Estonia, Estonian foreign representations or from Estonian honorary consuls. If you wish to pick up the document in Seoul, please mark the Estonian Embassy in Seoul as the location of issuance.
